Today we are going to talk about one of the most incredible Spanish artists of all times, PABLO PICASSO.

Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain in 1881.
He was a famous painter, sculptor, ceramicist, printmaker, designer, poet and many more things.
He was brilliant!
He lived many years in France.
His work as artist is divided into different periods depending on their life and the social situation of the World. Some of those periods are:

The blue period: his sad period

The pink period: when he was in love

Cubism: the new style

So, now that we know a little bit more about Picasso, let's work.
The activity today is very cool.
You need:

• A sheet/piece of white paper
• A pencil
• A rubber
• A sharpener
• Colours
• A dice 

You are going to draw a portrait (a face) using the cubism style. How?

Very easy, here you are a chart with 7 different items, head shape, 1st eye, 2nd eye, etc.

You have to throw the dice and you should draw the item according to that number.

You should throw the dice 7 times to draw the seven items.

You can add more things to the portrait such as hair, a hat, jewellery, etc.
